Donnie Ray Ellison

Donnie Ray Ellison was born August 18, 1960 to the late James Lee Ellison Sr. and Emmagene Clay Ellison in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was the youngest of eight children. He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Harold T. Branch.

Donnie worked for several years until he became disabled. He loved playing basketball, listening to music; he was also a cheerful giver, and always willing to offer a helping hand to many in the neighborhood.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memories seven siblings: Patricia (Henry) Roberts, James Lee Ellison Jr, Joann Joseph and Ray (Jackie) Ellison of Corpus Christi, Texas, Randy (Rose) Ellison and Brenda Ellison of Houston, Texas, Stanley (Paulette) Ellison of Jessup, Maryland, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
