Eraca Floyd Wilson

God dispatched an angel and the invitation was put beneath Eraca Wilson’s pillow and it read, “my child you are tired weary and worn, now it’s time for you to come home”. Eraca closed her eyes, accepted the invitation and went home to be with creator on Wednesday May the 27th, 2026.

On April 2, 1970 in Chicago , Illinois a beautiful baby girl was born to the union of Dr. Charles Floyd MD and Annie Blanche Bailey Floyd. They named her Eraca Espinosa Floyd, but to her dad she was “lil Pooh”. At an early age Eraca accepted Christ. She was baptized by her grandfather the late Rev. D.S. Bailey Sr. at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church.She attended Eisenhower High School and obtained her bachelors degree from Texas Southern University.

Eraca is preceded in death by her father Dr Charles Floyd MD and her mother Annie Blanche Bailey Floyd. 

Cherishing her life and cherishing her memory are her daughters Bailey Anne Wilson and Niaysia Mone Wilson, her sister Ashley Floyd Miller(Mauri Miller), step-mother Olivia Floyd, sister/cousin Ywantia Black, her aunts Iona Grant (Robert), Effie Bailey, Lauretta Moss, Nan Johnson, and Theona Bailey, and her uncle Troy Floyd, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
