Erwin Julius Nicholas

Today, we laid to rest our son, Julius, in a private funeral service. Julius passed away after a long struggle with mental illness. We would like to thank all our family and friends for your faith, love, and unwavering support throughout. We would also like to acknowledge Louvenia’s colleagues and friends at Vinson & Elkins LLP for their steadfast help and support over the years.

Julius was the light of our lives. We will always praise and thank God for him. We cherish the time we shared together. All the wonderful memories—the joy, love, laughter, and tears—served to create a bond that is unbreakable. We will miss our son, our friend, our brother. Our hearts are broken, but our faith is unshakable—even renewed!

We pray that God wraps His loving arms around him and surrounds him with angels of love and protection. May he rest in eternal peace. Hallelujah!
