Ivorie Nichelle Griffin was born on September 12, 1983 in Decatur Alabama and adopted by Glenda and James Bolden. She graduated from Butler High School In 2001 and then went on to Alabama A&M where she graduated with honors. Ivorie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at age 15. Ivorie was very active in her home church The Bridge of Destiny in Alabama and Greater New Hope in Houston. She was instrumental in the culinary ministry, choir, and the children’s ministry where she was affectionately known as TT Ivorie by her church babies whom she loved as her own. Ivorie loved to write and wrote the book “Put Your War Clothes On” and co authored “Project Know her Heart” Ivorie was preceded in death by her biological mother Linda Peoples, adoptive parents Glenda and James, a sister Tabitha McLaurin, and a daughter Laylonni.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her biological father Windzell Crumbough, brother BJ Crumbough (LaTosha), sister Nicole Mcafee, brother Julius McAfee, brother Jeremy Elliott (Candice), fiancée Arlington Lane, chosen brother Sean Webb, and chosen sister Toya Harper. Along with a host of nieces and nephews including Arianna Gant, Alex Gant, Aden Wallace, Christian Draine, CaLeigha Crumbough, Cameila Crumbough, Johnathan McAfee, and Destiny McAfee. And numerous adopted nieces and nephews.
