John L. Robinson

May 8, 1950 - June 9, 2021

John L. Robinson, born in Mobile, AL but was raised in Jamaica Queens, NY until he decided that he will move back to Mobile, AL and become a Greyhound Bus Operator from 1996-2008. In 2018, John decided to move to Texas and resided in Sugarland, Texas where he was a member of The Fort Bend Church in Sugarland, Texas.

He battled Stage IV Lung Cancer and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 9, 2021.

John leaves behind to cherish his memories, his life partner, Wanja Thomas; five children: three sons Cornel (Stephanie) Robinson of Dallas, GA, Tysean Tummings of Queens Village, NY and Tyler Thomas of Sugarland, TX; two daughters Erin Robinson and Cadance Robinson of Freeport, NY.

John remains will be released during a memorial and burial at sea in Alabama.
