Larry E. Young

On the eleventh day of July in the year of 1961, a baby boy was born to Ola Mae Young and Harry Young, Jr. They named him Larry Earl Young. He was a bundle of joy who brought life and love to the family.

Larry was baptized was baptized at an early age under the leadership of the late Harry Young, Sr. He was an excited little boy who loved church and wanted to participate in all activities that he could. During his walk here on Earth he continued to be an extraordinary and dedicated member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church and also sung in the choir.

Larry attended MC Williams and later transfer to Booker T. Washington.

On the sixth of April the trumpet sounded, and Larry answered the call. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ola Mae Young; his brother, Wayne B. Young; and his niece, Sharday Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: daughter, Katerral Amos Rideau (Johnny Jr.); grandson, Johnny Rideau III; sisters, Sharon R. Young and Trasanda K. Young B*K*A K.K; loving and devoted neices, Dontavia A. Barnett (David), Jasmine L. Gatlin (Marquis), LaQuiesha, and Natasha; nephews, Jaquon, Zacorian, and King; a very special friend, Jackie Brown B*K*A J.B; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
