Nivia Chivonn Boyd was born on October 31, 1979, to Marilyn Boyd and Leonard V. York in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Nivia attended school at West Oso High School and graduated from Lamar High School in Houston, Texas. She studied mass media at Houston Community College. She always had a passion for music and was the CEO of a mainstream internet advertising agency that focused on bringing local talent to the forefront in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Nivia gave her life to Christ at an early age. She was full of life and loved helping and encouraging people. She was dedicated and faithful to her friends and family and spent a majority of her life’s work supporting others in their endeavors.

She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Louise Boyd.

She believed in her Almighty Father and He welcomed her with open arms! Nivia leaves to cherish her memories: her two sons, Jerek Womack-Boyd and Jairius Boyd Edwards; her parents, Marilyn Boyd and Leonard York; grandfather, Andrew Boyd, Sr.; her sister, Falan Davis; brother, Nick Boyd-Davis; niece, Mariya Smith; and a host of other family and friends.
