Pamela Rochelle Ford

Pamela Rochelle Ford was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 9, 1967 to Benjamin Harrison Ford, III and Patricia Ann Collier. She made her transition to her Heavenly Paradise on Monday, February 24, 2025.

At an early age, she was baptized at St. John Baptist Church by Pastor Harold T. Branch. She served in the children’s choir, youth choir, and various facets of church ministry until she left for college. Upon relocating to the Houston area, she became a member of The Fountain of Paise under the leadership of Dr. Remus E. Wright where she was also a faithful member of the choir ministry.

Pamela was a proud graduate of Mary Carroll High School in 1985. She was a member of the basketball team. She was crowned Miss Black Coastal Bend, where she was also named Miss Popularity and won the talent division. She went on to attend Lamar University where she was a member of the university’s gospel choir. She later moved to Houston, Texas, her career later took her to the Dallas/Fort Worth area, then she relocated to The Woodlands to be near more family and her nephew as he grew older. She worked in the residential management industry and concluded her career in the healthcare industry.

She was a great friend who valued her friendships with those she grew up with, the priceless relationships developed in college, her professional relationships, and those she met over the course of her life. The time spent with family was very important to Pamela, who loved to laugh, play games, cook, and often became the comedian to entertain everyone in the house.

Pamela Ford was preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Harrison Ford III and her mother, Patricia Ann Collier. The testimony of her life will continue to be a blessing through her loved ones; sister Shanae Ford-Wilbert and brother Daniel Canada (Kokeithia). Her nephews and niece Romello Justice Wilbert, KoDee Canada, Daniel Canada, Jr; her uncle Isaac Collier, Jr.; special cousins Ruby Pollard, Rodney Cross (Valensa), Jackie Cross, Kim Beasley (Larry), Carol Cuencas, Andrea Collier, Isaac Collier III (Tamera), Dionne Collier, John Cuencas, Jr (Marsha), Debra Collier (Courtney), Diane Collier, numerous cousins, a host of special friends, and wonderful co-workers throughout her career and from VM Capstone Healthcare.
