Ravën A'Riana Walker

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Ravën A'Riana Walker, of Houston, Texas on August 10, 2025, at the age of 34. Born on February 6, 1991, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Ravën was a woman defined by her affection, joy, and humor. She accepted Christ at the age of 9 and was baptized two years later by her grandfather at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church.

A proud graduate of Hueytown High School, Ravën continued her education at Del Mar Community College and Stillman University before earning a degree from Brightwood Vocational College. As a phlebotomist and certified medical assistant, she dedicated her life to helping others, always showing immense empathy and kindness to her patients.

Ravën’s greatest joy was her role as a mother to her daughter, Aislyn Reigne. She cherished their time together and was incredibly proud of the young lady Aislyn is becoming. Ravën also enjoyed spending time with loved ones, watching her favorite anime, and trying new restaurants and recipes with her daughter. Known for her unique style, she was a true "sneakerhead" who used fashion as a form of self-expression. Music was a powerful creative outlet for her, a way to share her emotions and find solace. Deeply devoted to her family and friends, Ravën was known for her candidness and unwavering commitment to her principles.

She is survived by her daughter, Aislyn Reigne Walker-Robertson; her Mamma, Angela R. Walker-Lawrence; her Daddy, Ray A. Lawrence Sr.; her Sisters, Brittany L. Creer, Staisha P. Hubbard and Brianna N. Lawrence; her Brother, Ray A. Lawrence Jr.; her Love-Brothers, Stephen and Dana Perryman, and Grandparents Curley and Brenda Lawrence Jr. To cherish her memory, she leaves behind her Best Friend and daughter's Godmother, Shan Thurman Guin along with Siblings, Deremick Hunter, Aisha Bessard, and Tramoni Duncan and her Father, Travis Duncan.

Ravën was welcomed into heaven by her beloved Grandparents, Pastor Emeritus Cecil Columbus Walker Jr., Rose Marie Jackson Walker, and Cynthia Diane Moore Urquhart; her Siblings, Reigan Ariel Walker and Nyjier Quame Lawrence; and her Auntie, Jakena H. Urquhart.

Even in her absence, Ravën’s spirit lives on—in her daughter’s laughter, in the love she gave so freely, and in the memories we hold close.
