Agnes Bennett Obituary

Agnes L. Bennett was born to Roosevelt and Minnie Lincoln on March 30, 1950. She was the oldest of 3 children. She attended Bridgeton High School where she graduated.  She began her walk with the Lord at a young age. Her ministry started at Bethel Pentecostal Church in Bridgeton, New Jersey not just as a member, she served as Youth Choir director. Agnes had a special group of lady friends (family) she sang with across the east coast area known as the Voices of Faith.

Charlie and Agnes married on Aug. 31, 1968. They have 3 Children. In December of 1981 the family moved to Houston, Texas.  After moving to Texas Agnes began her career in Dentistry as a Registered Dental Assistant until she retired.

The family started attending Lakewood Church and she continued to grow in her ministry. Agnes began her ministry as a prayer partner which she severed faithfully until she was unable to attend church. Agnes later became a Section Host Leader (with her husband), she worked in the Hope and Depression Ministry as well and the Healing service with Ms. Dodie Osteen. Agnes was passionate and committed to ministries and to the people she prayed with. She had a genuine love for people. Her smile was contagious and comforting at the same time. Agnes was also known as Mother Bennett at the Greenhouse International Church where her children attends. Even there God used her as an Angel full of grace to cover the Pastor and congregation with prayers and great faith.

Agnes enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed church functions, women conferences and traveling with her group of lady friends. Agnes believed in greeting everyone with a hug.

Agnes was preceded in death by her oldest son Charlie T. Bennett Jr. (Pete), Sister Lyshron Lincoln, brother Roosevelt Lincoln Jr., father Roosevelt Lincoln Sr. Agnes leaves to cherish husband Charlie T. Bennett Sr. (55 years of marriage), daughter Michaela (Lynn) Bennett, son Keith L. Bennett, daughter in law Joanna, mother Elder Minnie Lincoln, her grandchildren Chase, Kobe, Hannah, Dunstan, Nathan, Jamarcus, Keianna and Keiarra. Her two sisters in law; Kathleen Gould, Patricia Maxwell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
