The Lord illuminated the world and blessed Barbara Kent with a star on July 13,1984. Joseph Christopher Jackson was born at Jefferson Davis Hospital in Houston, Texas. He became affectionately known as “Bowlegg” due to the extreme bow of his legs.
Joseph was baptized at Greater Mt. Pillar Baptist Church of the Houston, TX. He continued his walk with the Lord as member of Greater St Matthew Church. He was an active member of the youth department and enjoyed using his rapping abilities in plays and programs.
He spent the majority of his childhood in Studewood where he attended Hohl Elementary, M C William Middle School, Booker T Washington High School and North Houston High School for Business. He could often be found freestyling or joking with friends.
Joseph had an intense love for music. He enjoyed writing and performing music.
He spent endless hours playing monopoly with his mother, dominoes with his uncles, and scrabble with his children.
God called Joseph Christopher Jackson home on January 16, 2022. He is preceded in death by his Loving grand parents James Kent Sr. and Ruby Bell Kent;He leaves to cherish his memories: His Mother Barbara Kent (Alfred), his sons Jomaliki Jackson 20, Sire Jackson 14, Epic Smith 12, Khalil Mitchell 8.
