On November 30, 1955, Joyce Ann Randall was born to Willie Ray
and Classie Marie Randall. Her father preceded her in death at a very
young age. Joyce accepted Christ at an early age. She received her early
education in the Houston area and received her middle and high school
education through Center Independent School District. As a graduate
of the class of 1975 from Center High School, she enjoyed participating
in the Cosmetology Program at Panola Junior College in Carthage,
Texas. While in high school, she worked at Holly Farms which is now
known as Tyson.
Upon graduation from high school, Joyce worked for the Davis family
as a housekeeper as she enjoyed sharing her talents of cleaning in the
homes of others.
On June 3, 1977, in the small town of Center, Texas, Joyce married the
love of her life, Herbert Judge, and they were married for 45 years until
his recent passing. To this union was the birth of their baby girl Martina.
Joyce’s employment continued as a private housekeeper for various
families spanning over 40 years with breaks in between as she traveled
and cared for her husband and daughter as a proud military wife.
Joyce enjoyed cooking, baking, and watching HGTV. She enjoyed
learning new recipes and sharing her food creations with everyone she
loved.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, maternal and paternal
grandparents, brother, Willie Ray Randall, infant sister, and most
recently, her husband.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter Martina Judge; aunts,
Lorine Auguste and Stella Carroll; sisters, Beulah “Ann” Hamilton,
Margaret Baker, and Gail Lathom; brother, George Lathom; three
goddaughters, Dena Lathom, Zandra “LaMonica” Emanuel, and
Shar’da Ware; two godsons, DeMarcus Emanuel and Thurman Emanuel;
god-grandchildren, Jayceon Mitchell, Jordeyn Mitchell, Wilfred “RJ”
Perkins, Leighlani Lathom, and Drew Reynolds; cherished friends,
Elizabeth “Libby” Mitchell, Delores Kessell, and Pearl Fields; and a host
of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
