Our brother Richard was a peaceful single man who enjoyed his ELVIS PRESLEY MUSIC, a good professional boxing match, an NFL game, old rock & roll music and of course old black and white movies.
He had inherited our dad’s 1983 GMC Pickup truck, which he babied as if it was his child. Which was his only “child” one might say.
Our brother Richard had the Medina Trait, that was making friends and shunning no one. Always joking around.
Richard is preceded in death by his mom and dad, Mr. & Mrs. Jose and Mary Medina, Sister, Mary C. Medina Brothers, Johnny Medina, Ernesto Medina, Carlos Medina and George (Robert) Medina.
Richard, upon graduation from Sam Houston High School in 1974 enlisted into the United States Army. After leaving the Army he began his career of driving 18-wheeler tractor trailers, working for numerous trucking agencies until his health got the best of him. Believe this, up to his death, Richard still had his Commercial License to drive those big rigs and always wanted to get back behind the wheel again.
He will be truly missed by the surviving family members, brothers Jose Medina Jr., Frank Medina and sisters Elma Ortiz, Gloria Garcia and nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles with whom he enjoyed talking to.
