Valerie Green was born November 17,1968 to James Green, and Mattie Baymon in Chicago, Illinois. She finished her education through the Chicago Public School system. Furthering her education she attended Malcolm X College, also in Chicago. Valerie was a very bright and creative lady, who had many talents which she loved, such as singing and painting. Whatever Valerie set her mind to accomplish, she did it, and did it well! Above all, Valerie had a love for her family. So much so, in 2001 she moved them to Arlington, Tx. where she allowed them to grow into the adults they are today.
While In Arlington, Valerie with all of her creativity blossomed, making the best of her life spending time with her grandkids, laughing and nurturing them as they grew. She moved through life facing challenges with a since of ease. Valerie made life look simple, not sweating the small stuff, and always with a smile.

Valerie leaves to cherish, her children, Son: I’Derion D. Brown, Daughter: D’Shada D. Green. Mother: Mattie Baymon. Father: James Green (Lucille). Sisters: Alicia R. Baymon, Stacey Brown, Virgena M. Baymon, and Sister-in-Law: Ericka Baymon. Grand Children: J’Quon Green, J’Quari Green, J’Ontre Green, J’Kylan Green, Tremiah Roseberry, J’Kayden Green, La’deja Howard, and Zion Brown. A host of nieces, nephews, Aunts, and uncles, cousins and finally friends.
